01/09/2019 – Google Analytics!

Wow, it’s September already, where is the year going?!

This week I pressed on with Twitter, for the first few days I continued to follow many users, like posts, re-tweet, comment etc etc. Now my followers are organically increasing which is great to see.

One of the training tasks was a speed test of my writing skills, what content could I produce in 30 minutes without thinking too much about the topic. If you’d like to see the results of this test see my blog posts on Wealthy Affiliate entitled “Two weeks of Twitter”.

Finally, the next part of the training was to install Google Analytics. YES! I have wanting to do this part for a while now. Finally, I can start to see if this website is actually being viewed, duration of visits, popular pages etc. I will now include this in my weekly report.

As usual, here’s this week’s progress:

Wealthy Affiliate Training Progress

Affiliate Bootcamp

Comments:
9 tasks completed this week. I’m hoping by the end of next week to complete Phase 3.

Wealthy Affiliate Community

Comments:
My Rank has picked up a little this week as I have pushed on with the training, and contributed another blog post. Couple more followers in my network too.

Social Networking

Comments:
Number of followers has greatly increased. I’ve targeted the ‘writing community’ a lot as I feel this is closely related to what I am doing here and is a good audience. No changes or updates to the Facebook pages this week.

Google Analytics

Comments:
The Google Analytics code was only installed mid week so the stats are not reflective of the entire week, but good to see some activity.

Any other comments

Another problem experienced a few days ago. My website was running incredibly slow. This was quickly resolved by the support team at Wealthy Affiliate although I didn’t receive an answer as to what the issue was.
